Avoided the crowds and skied part of the Colorado Trail on MLK weekend.


Went to A-basin with professional skier and billiards-man, Justin yesterday.  He set a tough pace but luckily had a hang-over so I could keep up with him through all the  
                                                        shrubbery.
Every day is a new run or trail and Justin was able to show me  a really good run.

Met a 91 year old skier on his 12th consecutive day  On Vail gondola today.

Vail. Black Friday - not busy at all.

Night at Ken's Cabin

Volunteered with Summit Huts Assn. to haul kitchen-ware to Cabins.  What a pain. Pack must have weighed  70 lbs.

Spruce Creek Trail

Mayflower Lake on the backside of Mayflower Gulch

Forgetting what un-sore legs feel like.

Spent most of morning skiing up Mayflower Gulch and had lunch up high. 
Only took a half hour to return.
Then went and Skied Breck in afternoon on opening day.

This is sooo great. 

Good thing they have all these first-aid stretchers stacked up!
